- Sr Superintendent of Police, Leh with the request that the above permit holders in the group may be allowed to visit the above noted restricted areas and no individual foreign tourist may be permitted to enter the restricted area.
- Deputy Director,Tourism, Leh for information and necessary action.
- Direct He will ensure that the above foreign tourist will remain in a group and are in possession of necessary permits issued from this office. It will also responsible of the travel agent that the group don't visit other than the places shown above and the permit holders will not stay after expiry of the valid period.In violation of the above instructions action such as black listing/ suspending/ cancelling of licenses/registration etc, shall be taken against him under Tourist Trade Act.
- It is mandatory to show your leh arrival boarding pass along with the permit.
- Red cross fee is voluntary, its either Rs. 50 or Rs. 0
- Environment fee of Rs 1 per permit will be charged if all tourists are doing their 2nd or subsequent visit in an year
- Children below 12 years of age are exempted from permit registration.
- The permit holders are advised to keep sufficient no of photocopies of the permit with them, which may be required for depositing it at each point of entry/exits.
- Follow the instructions of defence personnels and the police.
- Kindly follow the health advisory issued by district adm. to avoid health hazards.
- The tourists shall bring their Garages and Dump the same at Tsangda project for segregation on their way back to Leh
